No Fap Creator Talks To New York Times

I found this to be quite an interesting article and interview, talking as it does to Alexander Rhodes, the man who created the ‘anti-masturbation and porn’ site No Fap.
No Fap was created to help people with ‘porn addiction’. Now the article is quite clear that this is an alleged affliction that has not been medically or scientifically recognised, which is fine.
What it fails to do is really probe Rhodes about his claims about what porn allegedly did to his life and relationships. Nor does it ask him what his thoughts on porn are overall and whether he is in favour of stricter regulation of porn.
He does say he’s sex positive and has refused to have his site mesh with religious support – but exactly how does his site help people?
