My name is Nazanin but the kids in our family call me Auntie Nazy, so I’m going to stick to my nick name.

I’m a 44-year-old widow living in Iran. On the outside, I’m a strict hijabi woman. I have to be like that in order to keep my job as a government employee. I have achieved promotions and rewards, and have been celebrated as a model employee purely because of my strict Hijab and being on time when the prayer begins, while I don’t actually do any work, nor do I believe in any of it!
