I think the family gets to edit the show. But, from what I've read, they rarely take things out. The good and bad both get put out. They admit to making mistakes just like anyone else. At least it makes them more human, celebrities often seem to put themselves on a pedestal, which they don't belong on.
One question, have you seen the book she did with her sisters? I think it's called Kardashian Konfidential. Goes into lots of details.
