Does anyone play this game and if so, on which server (beta or crusade)?

It's still in it's beta, but this game is a lot of fun to play. Think of tribal wars but then with with more strategy game elements and with more freedom to do whatever you want.

The last screenshot is civilization III or IV & the one with the snow was probably for Christmas and/or new year, as I've never had a snowy landscape and I joined in januari.

The red circles mean that this town is nearly impregnable as rocky outcroppings slow you down & walls can only be crossed by infantry (the graphics for walls have been improved btw). So if you put enough archers on top of your storehouse (the 2nd red circle), your enemy is dead before he can get there.
