2 Men (Separate Incidents) Cleared of Assaulting Cops - Cops Actually Assaulted THEM

Re: 2 Men (Separate Incidents) Cleared of Assaulting Cops - Cops Actually Assaulted T

The second post is, sadly, merely ignorant on many levels.

I have no patience with whiners who can't handle simple traffic laws, and bitch when they get nailed knowingly breaking them.
We all know we do wrong, but still get grumpy when called down for it.

How is it ignorant to say that some people join the police force looking for empowerment and the ability to push people around? I think it's ignorant to say that that is not true, it's almost intuitive.

And speaking of ignorance, nobody here, least of all myself, has complained about getting legitimate tickets from police for doing the wrong thing. I've never cursed a cop for ticketing me when I deserved it. This thread is about those cops who abuse their power. Sorry Philbert, they do exist and they are out there.

For God's sake philbert, can you PLEASE just stay off of my threads??? Please??

All you have to do is stay off the FreeOnes website, and I won't post in the lame threads you start.
Pretty simple...quit whining.

If your speeding a little bit or something like that they are sure there for it though.
Respect isn't given, it's earned, even for law enforcement officers.

Speaking of ignorance, read the posts before claiming you know their content.
I hear the same lame claim a lot, here and in the real world of people who drive 600-1000 miles a week...and I have no tickets...like the cops have nothing better to do than to pull over a vehicle driving 20 over, without a valid sticker, and write tickets.
But that is what they do...don't speed, keep your shit straight, and you won't get cited.
As for the "bad" cops, c'est la vie...they are few, easy to spot, and are way outnumbered by the hardcore LEs who get falsely accused constantly by guilty perps trying to smokescreen their way outa trouble.
Any cop afraid to deal with a bad guy is quickly separated from the cops who need to trust and depend on their backup...your evaluation has noting to do with actual LEs and is a brainfart you had, and posted.
Your original statement had a large portion of LEs joining 'cause they have a resentment from being bullied as kids, and join to get payback of the public.

"I think people who got picked on or pushed around as kids make up a decent proportion of people joining the force, looking for empowerment. As a result we have a lot of cops who have chips on their shoulders and like to push people around but have no real balls when dealing with serious criminals." Your words...
Now, you change it to say "some"...which is most likely true, there are some of everything in the hundreds of thousands of LEs...dissing the protectors of us all for silly reasons and with no real basis is just chicken, the weak sniping at the strong for feel-good points.
There are some, like the OP, who make it a main theme of their posts to diss LE...their motivation is obvious.
If you don't feel police are evil heinous social bullies, by the thousands, say so.
So far, you've made unfounded and wrong comments about LEs that I find insulting to the men and women who do that hard job.
