Since you are from Chicago, you know all about the White Sox problems from an offensive standpoint. They can really manufacture runs very well and their team speed is definitely lacking. Give credit to the Rays GM and Joe Maddon for putting together a well balanced team that everyone missed. I thought they would threaten for finally having a winning record this year, but they exceeded all expectations. Too bad Chicago had to go through the wringer to get to the playoffs as staring rotation was not that well primed.
I bet a Cubs fan some money on this series because they hated Manny Ramirez. Seemed obvious they could potentially lose their NLDS with the Dodgers as the Cubs have been on auto pilot for the past couple of weeks. Harden should come hard today, but he is always one pitch away from injuring himself, and it would not surprise if they were unceremoniously run for a century of futility (should be a placard over Wrigley as the north side losers come to watch their lovable losers).
I am hoping for Rays vs. Phillies World Series, but a Dodgers vs. Red Sox would be great theater as well.
