Nebraska beat #2 Texas last year.

The Big 12 wanted a team in the NC game so bad, they put more time on the clock so Texas could win.

Key words; "last year".

Last year they had Suh who just dominated that game. I see Texas winning by 2 touchdowns.

Still running the one man Suh thing huh "rwill.."? It would be funny as hell if Neb won the Big XII and took the championship with them to the B10. Could happen.

You sound like "girlfriend left you so now you try to convince everyone that you never really liked her and she's ugly" guy.

Nebraska is the most overrated team in college football. I'm starting to believe that no one even watched them last year. People only remember the Texas and Arizona game, and just assume they're going to play like that in 2010.

Nebraska hasn't done shit in the Big 12 for quite some time, even with being in the pathetic Big 12 north. Maybe going to the Big 10 will do them some good.

You're joking right?

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh They beat you guys (assuming you're a Sooner) and by all rights could have easily won the Big XII championship.

If it's that easy for a one man team to do that in the Big XII...honestly how good is that conference then really?

The good thing about all the stuff you're talking...you'll get a chance to see for yourself if they're any good or not.:1orglaugh

Did you watch the Oklahoma-Nebraska game? Nebraska was pathetic; 7 first downs and only 180 total yard. If it wasn't for Landry Jones' 5 INTs that game would have been a blowout.

Also, Nebraska wasn't impressive against Texas either. It was a sloppy game for the most part by both teams. But nothing to convince me that Nebraska was the better team. Suh had a Heisman performance which kept that game close.

If you're counting on things to stay the same for this year, then you might have a point. But history tells me that Texas and Oklahoma will keep on rolling.

On of my favorite sayings is from Lou Holtz when he says, you don't have to be the best team in the country today and you don't even have to be the best team in the state today. All you have to do is be the best team on that field today.

Nebraska's only job was to be better (or less pathetic) than OU on that day. Not be "impressive".

Which is why I say they're overrated.

True,....but winning by having good fortune come somebody's way or by overachieving instead of being the better team isn't a very repeatable or reliable thing, and isn't something that should be counted on.

Nebraska won 10 games against 4 loses (3 of which were by a total of 4 points, 2 of which games were on miraculous last plays by the other team). Iif their season was a product of "fortune", I wouldn't characterize it as "good" on their behalf.

At some point you have to say they are simply winning the games.

Too late. Your picks for our head-to-head weekend death match [which I am currently leading 1-0 :nanner:] must stand.

And by the way, how about that USC defense, eh?
Even Hawaii's THIRD STRING quarterback had good success against it :anonymous
