The King's Speech is the film of the year. They made out like bandits tonight. It's a powerful film.

Meh. Mediocre Oscars. I miss the days of Billy Crystal hosting.

Yeah, "The King's Speech" winning for Best Picture wasn't much of a shocker was it? Definitely very deserving! Actually, most of the major award winners were fairly predictable this year if you ask me.

The King's Speech marks the first film I've not seen before it won the big award since 1989's Driving Miss Daisy. Not that I have no desire to see TKS, just that I've not had the chance yet.
