Libertarian Social values are very Liberal (correctly so) and that would ultimately sink them with all the frothy, full-throated, chest-thumping, knuckle-dragging GOP voters and Tea Baggers. Libertarians *theoretically* would tear down Christianity "in the state gov't level," and dismantle Medicare; they would open all borders. The Palin Tea Baggers could not stomach this, the "dark side" of Ron Paul and Libertarianism...:yinyang:

As in his stance on the 2nd Amendment and his stance on abortion (ever since he saw a baby put in a bucket when he was a doctor)? I also hope Peter Schiff wins in Connecticut Vs Chris Dodd. I would love to see Schiff on a ticket for President. He is a guy who really understands the economy and what freedom is all about.

Out of the ones on the list, Crist is the only candidate that I would consider supporting. If Kay Bailey Hutchison were to run I would also give some consideration to her. The others on the list are way too conservative from a social standpoint for me to support without sacrificing my core beliefs.

I agree, the only 2 moderate Republicans that might be in the race. No way in telling what America will feel in 2012 though.
