Rush Limbaugh can be a possible and a perhaps probable candidate as well as John Mc Cain again despite his age. Obama's presidential report will be so catastrophic that I am sure Democrats will not have a single chance in 2012. Obama promised you to fix the economy quickly and implement the so called change. I am sorry to say but I will be honest that the change you have it backwards, sorry to be so unpolite but with Ben Bernanke as the president of the Fed, I wouldn't expect any miracles. You must be naive to think that Bernanke is a brilliant financier.None has seen any improvements during his first mandate as the president of the Fed, let's laugh about how worse will be the second. Continue to live in the dreams of the Obama mania until you awake one day with the brutal fall of the Obama administration.People don't like to be considered as idiots and people don't like people who promise too much and do nothing.
Rush will never run for or be nominated. He is way to controverisal with all the staements he has made as a radio shock jock.Republicans even have had to distance themselves from him.And McCain will be too old, plus you don't see the loser from previous election get the nomination very often and I can't remember when if they did they won 2nd go round.
Plus lets not forget that you predicted America would never elect any democrate last time. You are letting your personal bias against dems predict the outcome.
Possible. Many good Republicans and possible newcomers. Sarah Palin will be a non factor and she is unelectable due to her crucifixition by the liberal press.
Katie Couric (no big liberal btw) asked her some simple basic questions she could not handle. She would have tough time on "are you smarter then a 5th grader".
I have to agree on the Palin part, she is done for the republicans. She will just be used as a MC for them before the big speakers come up. On that list though Jindal seems to be the obivious choice. I know there were serious talks in 2007 about Jindal as well. If they gave him a good running mate I think they can pull it off. Although if the Dem's keep running this country deeper and deeper in the shitter, it won;t matter which Republican runs, Kinda like how the almighty O won in 08. people were tired of the republicans and ANY Democrat would have won the election.
Also the fact the Jindal is actually Cathoilc and has soldiary with other Christian demonations and gives speaches at pentecostal and baptist is one way they can get the religious right back. He was also a Rhodes scholar that atteneded oxford and recieved a Masters of Litt in Political Science in 1994. He is going to be tough to beat in the comming years, this man seems to have it all.
Jindal has possibilities but he has a lot of work to do.His appearances (opportunities) to become a national spokesman and figure in the republican party have not gone that well.I remember he gave a response for pubs to Obama and the dems which was widely critiqued as weak and offering nothing new.
I would bet at least 10 people run for the republican nomination as it is so wide open with no clear front runner. They have to figure out not just what they don't like about dems and Obama but craft a positive message that the american people buy as credible to improve their lives.Till they do that they have little chance of winning IMO.
I never predict things this far out from an election though, too much can change. But if the trend of gradual improvement in the economy continues americans are gong to be very hesistant to make a change.Sitting presidents are not easy to beat, just ask John Kerry.
