30 comp virus infections found!

my comp asked me if i wanted to install some updates from java so i did,after i installed them my comp started running really slow so i started a avg scan and it has found 30 infections so far,the virus names show up as hp games/blasterball 3 and diner dash 2 and cake mania,i don't play any games on here.what are these,and could java have given me these viruses? any help would be appreciated.

those are from wildtangent. at least thats who used to put out blasterball back in the day.

uninstall wildtangent if you got it. its not bad, but can get bad. be warned, if you uninstall WT, the games prolly wont work.

i never played these games,i don't even know if there on my comp

is it a new computer? some come with them installed.

i got it back in the fall,i just found them in my control panel under hp games... i'm uninstalling them now.my avg is still scanning its taking forever. thanks for helping i appreciate it

ps. if you still have trouble after avg. i say move up to avast. they're a lot better, in my opinion. they picked up stuff avg didnt see.
