I just thougth it might be fun to hear your point of view on this case. Somehow I can imagine sex wil be mentioned alot, but I dont mind.

Anyways, here is the topic;
What do you consider being the positive and negative things in a relationship between a 40 years old lady and a 25 years old boy?

My first real relationship, I was 22, she was 37. She was technically my boss and hot. It's all good, as long as you're mature, she knows what she wants, and she can teach you things you'll end up using the rest of your life. If you're not mature about the situation, it'll end badly.

I hope she were a nice boss, though. But I can see that might be a problem.

In some cases, I have seen some men be the submissive person in the relationship - not always because of the age. (and sorry if "submissive" is a negative word. I couldnt think of a better word. No offence ment.)

really? in almost all cases I've seen in the states men are the submissive person in relationships.
women have the power and they know it.
even an alcoholic, nasty skank has her choice of many men willing to do whatever she wants and put up with anything as opposed to being alone.
the stuff i've seen men put up with........unbelievable.

society has spoiled women, blinded them.
if you don't drive a porche and look like brad pitt even most ugly, out of shape with horrible personalities women dont want ya, (until they hit about 35 and realize where theyre at in life)

anyway, as men get more desperate, you'll see more young guys going with women much older in that country

i nshare your view. and dont women deserve some power anyways? just take a look at us; going gaga becayse of female pornstars ;-)

And that might bring us to another part of this topic; sexlife. I have heard that the male is on his sexual peak at 25 and women at 40.

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
Sometimes biological age is irrelevant and mental age is more important. Not every young guy is immature wanting to mess around and not take life/work etc seriously, some may be very mature for their age and simply be on the same mental level as women much older than them rather than girls their own age. Likewise you get older women that are not as mature/settled as other women their age so will date younger more fun loving males who they feel more comfortable with who share their interests, ie clubbing video games etc. Age is only a problem when it comes to kids in my opinion, a 40 year old woman wanting kids will have little time left whilst a 25 year old male may feel he doesn't want to be a father yet. Overall I don't see any problem with relationships with partners of varying ages, as long as they are both together of their own free will and are happy with the way the relationship is headed that's all that matters. I suspect people that complain are either just jealous or have some other vested interest (ie parents worried about family shame etc).

Nope, quite opposite, Ulysses! I find you quite smart and extra smart today. :D

I think I know about one bad thing for a relationship like the one already mentioned. A 25 year old guy dont always think about what he is saying!

(Sorry, Ulysses, my compliment came out wrong. And no, I do NOT look at Ulysses as a 40 years old lady.)

I need to clean my screen!
I dated a 44 year old woman when I was 22. She had a son older than me.

She was awesome. Hot as all hell. I still spank off once in awhile thinking about that bod.

I understand what you're saying, but I was hardly submissive. But I hardly said no, either.

So it was lile you both respected each other, but you were a yes-guy. That dont sound like a too bad relationship - at least for her. :D

There is a possibility she will get insecure and think you will one day leave her for someone younger and better. Of course it depends on how long you want to stay with her and all that good stuff.

Be careful what you wish for, it might come true!

Yes.

Or perhaps ten years down the road he decides he does want to be a father and she can no longer have kids. I've seen that break this kind of couple up too, and it's very sad for the woman when it happens.

Good post, Ulysses
