In places like South Africa, the per capita rape rate is 1.3 per 1,000 per year. Over a lifetime a South African woman has somewhere around a 1 in 20 chance of being raped.

Couldn’t they just use a knife? It's cheap and relatively easy to hide. It's also technology that's been around since before written history, and to use it you just stick the pointy end into people that try to mess with you.

It is only through training to defend oneself, as well as to keep on attacking, that one can stand a chance.

They look very painful!! They should be illeagle but yet again, rape is illeagle and rapist should be punished to the maximum way possible so these 'traps' are perfect! :thumbsup:

I remember hearing or reading somewhere that a disturbing percentage of stabbing victims are stabbed with their own knives, there's a good chance the woman would just be giving her attacker a weapon.
