I have a question. When my girlfriend shaves her privates, she get red dots allover... But when you see girls in pictures and movies, they are smooth. How is that?

Any tips?

My wife has the same problem... Its razor burn. If she does it more often it'll stop. (I think.) Wait for someone more expeirenced to reply. LOL

Yeah, it's razor burn....doing it more often won't help, it'll just keep happening. Tell your gf that she needs to exfoliate before she does it (scrub off all of the dead skin and make sure she's clean) and then afterwards puts something with salicylic acid on it (like Oxy or other zit creams to keep the exposed hair folicles from getting clogged with dirt and infected). OR, she could just go get waxed. It's a little painful the first time but it gets better. A wax leaves the area smooth and free of burn and hair for about 2-4 weeks, which is much longer than shaving. Waxing herself would be cheaper than going to a salon but if she doesn't do it right it can cause bruising and a million other problems.
