websurfer said:sorry bigdan, but I find it a little cruel, I could sympathize with her, I'm sure she feels devasted now because of those incidents. I used to sing publicly and was a member of a band. There was a time where my voice just did not cooperate and my musical instrument would malfunction. So I feel how embarassed she may be right now.
nevertheless, I agree with you she should avoid singing live or limit them to avoid future embarassment. Don't mean to spoil your fun, but I hope we all could avoid making her feel worst or add hurt to someone who is just trying to make a living and ask her to stop singing live in a more gentle/nicer way...just my two cents. peace to ya all
"Just trying to make a living?"... she's a popstar, not a coal miner.
Unlike your unfortunate predicament, Ashlee's not a musician who had a really bad day... she's talentless hack, an artificially created musican who was publically exposed as a fraud. There's a big difference between the two.
The only symapathy I've shown towards Ashlee comes from the fact that it looks to me like she's taking all the criticism and ridicule while others (who are just as guilty as she is) go merilly on. It's like when I see an Olympic athlete lose his medal because he tested positive for steroids. Most people are angry because the guy cheated. My reaction is, "So you think the other guys in that event weren't cheating? They may have beat the drug test, but they're no more honest than the guy who got caught."
