The sad thing is, without all the drugs and alcohol, Ace probably would not have created much of the stuff we love today. personally, I don't do drugs (haven't since 85) and rarely drink anymore. Which is probably why, when it comes to music, I can barely play a CD, let alone make a guitar come alive.

True , but he has been sober for 3 years now and that's what is important. Everybody deserves a chance to better themselves and Ace did.

During the 70's and 80's his addictions didn't prevent him from creating great music but during the 90's and untill 2005-06 it did stop him because he didn't put out anything new except for "into the void" that he wrote for the psycho circus album back in 98. I'm happy that he's back in shape and will soon be back with new music :nanner:

Saw Ace last year and while it was a good show, it was just too damn loud. It was screeching my ears and I couldn't bare it. Saw KISS last month too and they were also great. The fake Ace did a good job at being Ace I guess. I've heard samples of Anomally and it sounds very promising. So does Sonic Boom from KISS. :2 cents:
