Here's an interesting question for everyone.

Would you date someone that is much younger than you?

I have a potential opportunity with this latina girl I've had a thing for since I first saw it. First time meeting her officially last night, and found out she's around 25....now the question is I just recently turned ahem...40. The good thing is since I take care of myself I don't look it and many people say I look 34. Oh and btw, she' is a babe...:flame:

But do you think the younger age would be an issue?

I've tried it a few times. I couldn't make it work. But on the other hand, I have a long, sad history of relationships with girls who are close to my age too.

I don't know that age is really that much of a big deal. If you connect, you connect. As long as she's (at least) mature enough to carry on an adult conversation, it could work. And maybe some youthful playfulness would be good for you. Plus, 40 and 25 isn't THAT much. When I was about 40 I dated a 22 year old (who seemed to have the mind of a 16 year old) and that was a freakin' disaster. But I dated a 24 year old a little after that, and she was like most girls in their 30's - course she'd been around the block a few times too. Very hot and sexy girl. I do miss her carefree willingness to get topless around the hot tub at the drop of a hat. But with all those trips around the block, she just had too much baggage for me to deal with. Anyway, give it a shot and see how it goes.

I usually date younger women, not through any sexual kink but just because I seem to click more with women in their 20s than women my own age (30s). Its a broad generalization I know but women in my age bracket seem to be looking for a more settled homely relationship rather than the more outgoing social lifestyle I prefer.

I could fun-date a girl of just about any age (well...geriatrics might be too old).

As for a serious relationship... don't think I could do younger than 30, or older than 50. My target would be late 30s to mid 40s.

I just wouldn't have anything in common with someone that much younger than me, and the looks of a woman more than 5 years my senior would go too quickly.

as everyone has said, it's only an issue if you make it one...age is just a number, once someones legally an adult then it shouldn't be an issue anymore...it's not a rationalization for behaviors, opinions, maturity level, actions or anything, i know old people who are immature and ignorant and i know young people who have their head secure on their shoulders and have their shit together...if you get along with her and can tolerate being around her for extended periods of time then why not?
