I agree with biglu's remarks but in general I hate the contract system since it seems to essentially limit what a performer will do and who they get paired with. Once in a while it works out OK, like in this case, but mostly it's yet another tool used by the industry to control the talent. Is it any wonder that mainstream Hollywood actors forced the studios to abandon this system decades ago? It's archaic. The industry was not like this back in the 70's and early 80's... they're regressing, not progressing IMO.
