Now, I found this information to be quite shocking....quite shocking I tell you! Looking at the current field of potential candidates for the GOP nomination for President....I was assuming that this had ALREADY happened!

There is absolutely no way to know when/if we're going to encounter aliens. Making "factual" statements of this sort is just ridiculous.

I hope that when we do encounter aliens, they're all voluptuously shaped women with vaginas on their feet, and that they insist on stepping on my crotch.

If humans do encounter aliens it will not be through us out there searching for them and its wishful thinking on his part that they find us - Least not in his timetable.

Seems like more of a random stab in the dark at what he would like to happen rather than what will happen. Predict 20 years as an estimate and if something happens, "he was right!", if he's wrong he's just another loser chasing dreams.

Humans went to the moon, found nothing and got bored of it. Now all we do is send up rockets to orbit our own dying rock.

Known planets? What is he basing that information on, hubble? Deep Space Sonar? Lasers? Radio waves? Short of visiting these "known" planets, we have no way of knowing whats waiting, so we guess, we "believe", in short we are dreaming of whats waiting.

So, they've been broadcasting for 40 years, rough guess that would mean those signals have gone 50 light years? Last I read the closest inhabitable planet was thousands of light years away.

I believe there are aliens out there, I would love it if we found proof of extra terrestrial life. But I think this guy has watched to many sci fi shows, 20 years?
