We're showing you good sources of info and you shit all over it. No comment on the message just piss on the messenger. I get it.

Actually you may want to read my posts again because I just took a huge, watery stinking dump on the message, calling it so slanted that even Fox News would be ashamed to carry it.

You should concider yourself lucky you got away with a little golden shower. Heck, close your eyes and imagine it coming from between the spread legs of a hawt babe and You Might even wank to it! :D

Oh well, back on track:

- No, organic food does not carry any distinct or even noticable improvements to your nutrition and/or health.
- No, food corporations are not selling junk that is killing everyone and making them fat or unhealthy.
- The most important aspects of eating healthy is to 1) eat the right amount for your gender, age and physical activity and 2) make sure you get all of the vital nutrients.

Organic food is just food... plain and simple. Eat too much of that and that too will make you unwell. There is no magic in organic food that prevents overeating from fucking up your body.

if the gentleman in Super-Size Me would have ate a month's worth of fruits, veggies and free range meat, 3 square meals a day, as opposed to the golden arches I think his body would have been alot better off at the end of that month IMO

No, he wouldn't because he was eating about twice his recommended energy intake plus that he went from being physicaly active to not. It doesn't matter what you stuff you face with: eat too much and you body will suffer!

As I said: responders to this movie also tried a 100% McD diet. But they adjusted it to fit their energy needs, going from "normal" cooking and eating, to just McDonalds but with the right amount of energy. All of them improved their health and lost weight.

Super Size Me was crazy when I first saw it! Especially his reaction to feeding his body McDonalds when he was so used to eating organic. He barfed everything up. But then he got used to the chemicals and even addicted. His body was breaking down and he packed on so much fat it was incredible!

That movie should be a wake up call to anyone.

Organic food is absolutely better than non organic and most everyone in the world knows you are what you eat. Go ahead and tell me there is no difference in chickens raised in the dark crammed in a filthy building like commercial chickens, and chickens that can roam and eat bugs and grass and get sunshine and fresh air. Come on sayvara, anyone can tell you you're nuts!

I don't believe their bodies became healthier internally, can you post some links to those articles

Yes... a wake-up call that if you eat too much of anything, you suffer for it.

Had he done the same thing on 100% organic, he would have been just as sick! It's not the source that matters, it's the amount he stuffed his face with!

I tell you again: do you blame the car or the driver for drunk driving? In your case, you're blaming the car.

Organic food is absolutely better than non organic and most everyone in the world knows you are what you eat.

Blah blah blah... now you're just stomping your foot and listing your wishful thinking.

first I had to google jfgi but i have read a few of these articles and it seems like those that did the golden arch diet for a month and lost weight chose the so called healthier options on the menu but I still question how healthy their internal organs are even after choosing the healthier options, these people still exercised but I am convinced that if they went and ate an organic raw food diet for a month then they could eat more than 3 squares a day, not workout and they still would loss more weight and be healthier internally and externally as a result

An organic raw food diet isn't necessarily the best diet in the world. True, if you're overweight and relatively inactive you will lose more weight and get healthier. But, it can cause problems all the same because now you have to get essential vitamins and minerals from supplements vs food sources.

I have some insane vegan raw food relatives (family gatherings are fucking hell) who don't have an ounce of fat on their bodies (the women look like boys), have tons of bottles of supplements they have to take and they can't conceive normally.

That extreme isn't any healthier than eating processed foods.

Honestly, when it comes down to it, it's all about moving your ass and eating as many whole foods as possible. Even if it's not organic foods, getting the US public to eat more fresh fruits and veg, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, etc rather than processed crap, is a win.

I hear ya Petra, I am not a vegan because I still eat organic free range chicken and eggs, I eat like a caveman and pretty much follow The Primal Blue Print but I don't eat grains or dairy anymore, yup the less processed food the better

I agree. I do not believe in vegan diets. Even though I posted a documentary clip from David Wolfe I am no vegan and never would be. I do however believe in eating raw whenever possible and eating food from organic sources.

Vegans are usually deficient because of not eating meats or animal products. We need them in our diet. I believe if everyone had access to raw organic milk from grass fed cows there would be way way less disease in the world.

I am a protein type as I found out doing the test on http://www.mercola.com so I have to eat meat. If I didn't I would be very unhealthy. Some people can do well on a vegan diet if they are that type of person.

I'm a big believer in grains, especially if you do any type of endurance sports. You need the carbs to fuel your body. I tried a no grain carb type diet years ago and my running suffered big time even though the weight melted off. I decided that it wasn't worth it.

The key is eating whole grains. There are a plethora of benefits and antioxidents you can't get through any other food source. The one thing I miss from the US is the variety of whole grains and would give a kidney for a bowl of steel cut oats.

I do believe everything in moderation. But it really pays to know your "nutritional type".

Check this out. http://products.mercola.com/nutritional-typing/

It's completely free by the way.

~~whimsy~~

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
Veggies/fruits

Meats/grains

Dairy products

Sweets: Dark chocolates that are not artificially sweetened. Take the 0 fat whip cream and put it in the freezer and eat that like ice cream without the consequences. Or fruit smoothies or something along the lines of that for dessert.

Proper liquids: Water, juices, tea, even wine for dinner is fine and A beer for lunch can help in little ways.

Miscellaneous foods: Hot peppers, side foods, and snack foods

Of course try and take walks/jogs, bike rides, do some sit ups, push ups, and that kind of stuff with no charge of a gym. You should be fine. If want to add muscles and a build go to a gym then. Beyond that to lose weight can be easy just working out half hour to an hour a day in your own living room or bed. Eat your three meals a day or eat healthy throughout the day in little things. Breakfast in the morning, maybe a yogurt in between, a salad and fruit bar for lunch, a bag of fruit or veggies in between lunch and dinner, and a proper meal for dinner.

Of course can check your foods if anything artificial or preservatives are added. Steroids in meats. Stuff like that.

But then again most people don't know how to shop for groceries. Mainly meats and produce. They just pick up whatever they can and do their best to try and get vegetables and fruits with a main meal.

I can run a 26.2 on an empty stomach in the right type of weather at a slow steady pace but trying to run 50 and 100 mile ultras without grains, now that is gonna be a challenge, I might just have to add them in for the ultras, we'll see :)
