This country is not headed towards fascism...it's headed towards socialism.
Well, they're not exclusive of one another. Fascism is a governmental system, like communism or a democratic republic. Socialism is an economic system, like capitalism or mercantilism. In theory, we could be headed toward both (fascism and socialism) at the same time. But I don't think that's the case. Depending on what American faction you look at, we seem to be embracing a somewhat perverted form of corporatism (as an economic system) mixed with a democratic republic (as a governmental system), that only about half the eligible voters participate in.
and he's right about the Federal Reserve.
I agree sometimes he gets a little carried away, but at least he's not turning a blind eye to the bullshit that is taking place around the world.
Plus, at least his posts and threads aren't as fucked up as Vodkavictim's.
I admit that I didn't watch the entire video... only a brief snippet. But I agree with you that it's not fair to judge
all of WTC's posts on past posts where he has been "off the reservation". From what I heard, I'm inclined to agree with at least some of what I heard.
Here's a quote from a "radical thinker" from the 18th century... some guy named Tommy Jefferson:
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.
Like I said, I think there are factions in the U.S. right now that are convinced that what's good for "the company" is good for America. I do not share that belief. I'm happy that my views align more with Jefferson than Michele Bachmann, et al. But whether people agree or disagree, what's important is that more people get out there, seek out (subjective) information, get involved... and VOTE!!!
Maybe WTC is prone to get tied up in rather outlandish conspiracy theories sometimes. But on this one, from what little I heard, I have to give him props. :hatsoff:
