This is just unbelievable. This is for you georges and your like-minded homophobic bigots:

American Family Association radio host Sandy Rios thinks “the homosexual takeover of so much of our military” and the increased amount of women serving in key roles makes the U.S. Navy incapable of carrying out a strike against Syria. “When I looked at those battleships getting ready for battle in Syria, I couldn't help think about all the stories I've read about how women now are in the ranks of the Navy, getting pregnant at exponential numbers,” she said on air this week. “When I think about the folding in and the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell and the homosexual takeover of so much of our military I'm not sure how effective those naval ships will be.”

Not to mention Pennsylvania is spending tens of millions of dollars in tax payer money fighting gay marriage laws:

Pennsylvania: No Price is Too High to Defend Traditional Marriage

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett is so determined to keep a 17-year-old state law banning same sex marriage on the books that he's willing to shell out a whole lot of taxpayer money to a fancy private law firm to defend it. The ACLU is challenging the law, arguing that it violates the “equal protection and due process clauses that protect against discrimination and infringement on liberties," and is therefore unconstitutional. In addition to the $400 an hour the state will be paying former Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice William H. Lamb to defend the law, Lamb's associates at the West Chester firm Lamb McErlane PC will receive $325 an hour and state lawyers will also be compensated for contributing to the case.

For your information Mariah, I have no problems with gays being in the military because they serve their country and sacrifice their lives, so please don't imply what I have never said.

God damn it, Baconsalt!
A little hypocritical.

Mr. Obama is angry because Syria has used chemicals weapons, but he "forgets" that American army used them in Vietnam.

I doubt he forgets...that was nearly 50 years ago and a lot has changed since then. if there were a republican in office there wouldn't be an ounce of resistance from the right on it. But because they have to be true to their tunnel vision and refusal to compromise, there will be lots of talking shit no matter what. If he stays out he's weak. If he attacks he's wrong. he can't win so I say a nice sweeping carpet bomb of nuclear decimation is honestly the ONLY answer to solve the middle east problems. until someone is brave enough to say that out loud then do it, we will see this continue to get worse

Would it be better that you would allow them take care of their own problems?

The Arabs and Israelis worship militarism and they are doomed to eternal war.

I'm curious what battleships she saw, since we haven't had one active in over a decade.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
they wont take care of their own problems. the ONLY real solution is to wipe them ALL out.

While I do agree with this, nukes are the LAST thing you want to be used. In case you forgot about Chernobyl, that nuclear fallout, will rise to the winds a loft, and make it's way around the planet...including the united States. The LAST thing our farmers need, is radioactive rain falling on our crops, and tainting the water we give our live stock.

A better way. Leave, remove EVERY American soldier, from every country around the world, move Israel to Baja California...another useless chunk of desert, next to salt water, with no oil...and let the rest of the middle east kill each other off.

You are very sarcastic, they can have a civil union and live together, it doesn't bother me. But the problem main with Syria is tied with Iran as well. You attack Syria and you get attacked by Iran, so it is a risky business, not to mention that Obummer is fearing Putin.

Yes, because genocide always ends up solving more problems than those preceded it, or those that it might inevitably create. Suggesting that the only way that the world (or solely the United States, I can't tell who you're hinting at) can solve another country's problems is by obliterating them completely makes about as much sense as Hitler saying Jews were responsible for the world's decline.

I don't view them as putting up resistance solely to spite Obama, I sincerely believe that some of them don't want to get involved in this unless they actually feel we have to. Yes, some of them have essentially been accusing Obama of using a Catch-22 and doublethink during this whole debacle and will no doubt use this waffling as means of saying he's an unfit President, but I welcome any debate brought forth by sensible Democrats or Republicans as to what we should do to not become involved in something that didn't concern us before and ultimately will carry on whether we act upon it or not.

Interesting point. And yes, the hypocrisy here in the U.S. runs deep, my little Finnish friend. And by the way, we still have Napalm at our disposal, last I heard. We just played with the formula and we call it Napalm B now, but it's still some particularly nasty shit.

they wont take care of their own problems. the ONLY real solution is to wipe them ALL out.

So we're pissed at Assad for using chemical weapons against some of his people and our solution should be to "wipe them ALL out"? Before I say anything, who exactly is "all"? And why is it up to us to wipe anybody out?
