America's appetite for iconic cereals declines

Awesome. I have always hated cereal for breakfast. That's not a meal, that's crap.

I also think part of the problem is that for what your getting most cereal is a rip off. It cost way too much for what it is. Over time more and more people probably realized that and either quit buying it altogether or went to bulk cheaper cereal which is practically the same thing as the more expensive cereal in a lot of cases.

I do still like Frankenberry myself...though I can't find it except around Halloween anymore.

But I ask, what ever happened to the other two monster cereals...Fruit Brute (the 70s) and Fruity Yummy Mummy (the 80s)? :dunno: Hell I don't remember either one of those.
