Does it come with its own flies, or do I have to supply those myself?

I grew up in a house very similar to that one, same kind of roof, those cat eye windows in the attic, very similar inside too.......it had gargoyles and devils and angels and other creepy stuff carved into the woodwork throughout the house..........it even had a room in the basement I never went in until I was about 15......thought it might be the gateway to hell.. Totally gothic victorian house.......... the makers of the original film came by one day, actually twice to check out the house and possibly use it in the film but they eventually chose another house across the bay because it was right on the water and the boathouse and all.

and 1.5 is not a bad price for that property in long island.

sure did, right across the bridge.
drove by that house everyday going to high school.
they actually moved it to the rear of the property around 1985.

Michael Sorrentino ?

no, had to look him up........that buttheads from staten island not new jersey

in my younger and more vulnerable years clowns like him got beat up outside the bar and left in a puddle of his own piss and blood on the boardwalk........today there's just too many if them to chase out of town.

I don't live in new jersey at the moment.

They are full of shit. Even their kids, after they grew up, said that it was all a bunch of bs. What it was was that the Lutz's got a GREAT deal on the home.....and still they had bitten off more than they could chew financially. Several owners have come since then....and "shockingly" nothing happened to them. The Lutz's conspired with Jay Anson, Ronald DeFeo's lawyer (who openly discussed how he and the Lutz's had come up with the ideas for much of the bs in the story, over SEVERAL bottles of wine and dinner) and others.

Bottom line.....the story is TOTAL BS & a FRAUD!!! :2 cents:

And, for the record.....they're both dead now. Kathy died of emphysema in '04 & George died from heart disease in '06!
