I'll tell you what makes me cringe. When he's holding a slippery bit of a body, heart, kidney, testicle, whatever and then starts slicing it with a big sharp knife. It's not the body part that bothers me, it's whether he's going to cut himself! Imagine the bacteria in a dead body.
Big Red Van mentions a nipple slip being a reason not to show, well I guess the nude live models, with neatly shaven genitals might be a little more than your networks will take. Ah well, no doubt it'll be on Discovery before too long, Channel 4 seem to have strong links with them, UK programmes like Scrapheap Challenge (US version is Junkyard Wars) and Time Team go straight from C4 to Discovery.
Any way, I've now seen all 4 and thought they were great, especially the episode on musculature where he demonstrated how the tendons in our hands are worked almost exclusively by the forearm.
A friend did make me laugh when she said after the first one, "those dummys are realistic that he cuts up" I had to explain that the were actual bodies!!
