That's fair, and I certainly don't hold Robert Byrd up as a shining example of the embodiment of all things liberal or Democratic, just like you don't parade David Duke around. Robert Byrd kept getting re-elected so it wasn't like he was just going to go away.

I agree that it's exceedingly difficult to change an ingrained worldview, but it is possible. Personal views aside, what matters is how each of us treat other people. You can't change a person's beliefs, but you can change their behavior.

Well Rand Paul isn't at the top of my list anyway and his dad has made questionable comments and allowed racist comments in his newsletters that he claims he was unaware of. I would have to know more about the association of that operative with Paul before i tag him with it.

I have a client that was married to one that beat her silly and their childand I have had 2 meetings with the D.A. this month trying to make sure he isn't able to plead down and his ass goes to jail for a while. I also have a problem with people that are into shag dancing and wear penny loafers with shorts lol

West Virginia is a red state right now but were blue for the longest time They went red when the coal miner's unions became scared that alternative energy was going to kill their industry. Byrd brought a lot money back there and they worshiped him. They name everything there after him.
