I don't go to the movies much, but I like the idea of quieter theaters. It's one of the reasons I don't go in the 1st place. Still I would need something to block out noisy people, not just their phones.

What a silly idea. What if the router is in the living room that has been painted and all the laptops/PCs are outside the living room. Then no one with their laptops/PCs in the bedrooms would be able to get access at all, the same with cordless phones which you have around the house too! Also, isn't Wi-Fi capable of broadcasting outside windows too?

Even if this did work, what would you do with windows and doors? Would people have to pay more for special anti-Wi-Fi drapes? It would also suck for cell phone reception in your house or if some future technology comes along that operates at the frequencies it blocks. I still would have doubts about the protection a thin layer of paint could give. It’s not like the next door neighbor that wants to leach of from you is that far away.
