... But surround sound really is only made for films that you'd have sound passing all around you, like bullets. Is someone being fucked infront of you gonna really be surround? unless of course you want to feel like your in the middle of the action.

Well I suppose it's a good idea... set up 3 microphones in the distance, Left center right, etc. 2 near the camera and just let the soundman throw it all into the bitstream later. It wouldnt be as nice as possible unless the DVD used DTS, or they did it ala bluray uncompressed sound TrueHD.

But, eh.. hm. Dunno how useful that's gonna be to my wank. I'd try it out once or twice, tho! lol
