STDiva

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
Guitar?
Bass?
Drums?
Saxophone?
Flute?
Turntables?

What do you got? What do you play? Are you in a band? Got any links??

I play:

Guitars
Schecter 006 Elite Diamond Series
Epiphone Dot Hollowbody
Art & Lutherie 6 string acoustic

Bass
- Cort Curbow 5 string

Amps
- Vox Custom AC30 2x12
- Fender Twin Reverb
- Line 6 Lowdown Bass Amp (fuckin shit)

Pedals
- Boss Digital Delay 2
- Boss Compression Sustainer
- Boss Chormatic Tuner
- Ibanez Tubescreamer

I've been playing about 8 years. I used to play in a metal/hardcore band a few years ago. Now I just screw around with some friends just for fun. Me and a friend play open mics around the city once in a while too.

So. Anybody play?

I can play the piano a little, not very well, but a little. But I dont own a piano. :dunno:

Always wanted to play the guitar though, I might buy one. Anyone have any suggestions for a good learners guitar?

a cheap 100-125 dollar acoustic is your best bet for a learner. try an ibanez brand. if i had an acoustic to start with rather than an electric, i would be much more advanced than i am now.

Anything Epiphone. They are basically lower end Gibsons, but they sound great, and you can usually get a decent guitar for cheap. I bought mine for $200.

Don't get one of those beginner sets. Usually sound and feel like garbage and can be discouraging for someone learning.

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
Guitar and harmonica.

My son is actually a much better musician than I am but we share the passion. We have a really sweet mahogany Martin a/e and a slick ash-body Rickenbacker. Also, we have a couple of basses, 2 mandolins (one is electric; he can play bass and mandolin, not me), a banjo (can't figure that thing out to save my life!) and a nice fat hollow-body Ibanez....not to mention a couple of run-of-the-mill Strats and an old Epiphone acoustic made when Epiphone was Epiphone, not Gibson.

I love music and instruments. Such an emotional release.

Accordion. . .

I also learned to play the Drums and Piano for several years. I have several keyboards and drum machines that I use to make beats and tracks with. Wicked!!!

I am/was a classical guitar major in college. Sadly, my tendinitis won't let me play anymore, and I can't get my B.A. because I can't play an hour's worth of music for my senior recital. :(

Acoustic, (Takamine), guitar and some old Fender copy.

I used to gig as a one man band, a duo, then with a show band. I started piano, I still want to pick that up again.

Oh, and a harmonica, 'specially for the old Dylan songs.

Acoustic and electric guitar. Next thing i play will probably something from the brass section. Either trumpet or saxophone.

Amigo, you should never let :rubbel: interfere with your studies. But I imaging that by now, you must have a PhD in   .

I'm amazed that you also don't suffer from carpal tunnel.
