Anyone else have a good 2010 and is going to pay for it?

I just did my taxes for 2010, which was my best earning year ever... and holy fucksticks, I now owe nearly all of the money I was able to save last year to the IRS.

I'm in shock at the moment! :surprise:

Anyone else going to get bent over the proverbial Federal tax table this year? Misery loves company... so help cheer me up.

Nope. Sorry, man. I always give so much money away that I always make out like a bandit on taxes. Though this also gets me audited about every 5 years. Anyone who claims more than 15% of income donated gets audited regularly.

Hope 2011 is a good income year for you too! :thumbsup:

yeah true, or one of those 90 pregnant high school girls in Tennessee would have to go out and get a job.

when i lived in the states it made me sick each year when i had to pay about 4 grand in fed tax each year while people around me who didn't even work got a check for about the same amount just for having kids and purposely not getting married.

what a country!

What REALLY irritates me as a single dude is that I don't get much at all back for all the taxes I pay... I mean, fire, police (never use either), national defense I guess (though NoVA is eaten up with illegal immigrants, good job Feds), and roads... the roads SUCK here! They beat my poor Audi up so bad I'm spending $2500 getting the rims and tires fixed so that I can sell her. Had to buy a truck in December so that I could drive without cringing every 2 minutes from hitting a gaping hole (and not the good kind!).

I just feel like it's gotten out of hand... like everyone had a hand in my pocket except me... no matter how much I try and get over the proverbial hump, they just take more to keep me level.... or maybe my seasonal affective disorder is kicking in... sorry for the bitch session... it will pass.

everybody's always like " tax the rich more".
to me anybody saying tax anybody more is a sick, disgusting thing.
how about making the gov smaller.
