I'm not "into" it... But I do go to clubs quite often. It seems people get his label of being a clubber, which doesn't fit me at all, being a rocker to my very core. I just like to switch it up. Take some drugs. Dance the night away to thumping beats, each one completely indistinguishable from the last.

Being from South Beach you would think that I would be into that crap... nah....i'm more of a grunge head than anything. Besides clubs are nothing more than dump-sites for the douches and douchettes...:2 cents:

Same in London. Very few venues for rock gigs and one I went to on a few occasions closed down as well and then the only ones were huge arenas like the 02 which simply have no character, for a rock gig anyway.

There are great places in London still...youve got the big ones like Hammersmith Apollo, Brixton Academy (Which ive been to an all night rave at ) & Shepards Bush. It was a shame The Astoria closed & was demolished though There are a few in Camden too. You just gotta know where to look


As for the clubbing, if youre going out to do it properly you gotta go to an all nighter. Ive been to quite a few of the & theyre pretty mad :jump:

Damn shame about the Astoria, that place had some real character. Fuck the olympics!

Koko is another great venue. Camden is pretty much holding the torch of the rock venue.

On the London club side of things, since Matter has been shut down I no longer see the point...
