It's a great show. In many ways better than Sopranos. at least the last 2-3 seasons.
It's not on its way out. AFAIK they were just signed for a fourth season.

I own the first three seasons of Sopranos on DVD. Certainly not knocking it but you can't deny it's gone downhill and is begging for someone to put a bullet in it at this point.

The new Battlestar Galactica started out great. But now I think its just bad. I still watch it. But its going to end up like The X-Files with too many plot to possibly tie up without some kind of stupid series finale like The X-Files had.

It was a movie made in 1992 based on based on real-life Mexican Mafia leaders Rudy "Cheyenne" Cadena, Joe "Pegleg" Morgan and Roberto "Robot" Salas. It shows the rise of La Raza during the L.A. Race Riots back in the 40's all the way up through the 70's & 80's.
Good movie. Least I think so.

Liked the first series a lot.
Now here comes the but, it gone off in too many directions from the start of the second series onwards. They've put to many plot lines and sub plot lines into it now. To be honest if it did have a forth series I wouldn't bother watching it. As I didn't when the X-Files did the same on series three, I just stopped after that series.
Anyone wanting to do a sci-fi series nowdays should take a look at Stargate SG1. 10 years it's been running and is still fresh in what they are doing. Reason why is simple really. One main story throughout the series with the odd diversion into a sub plot once every so often. Or even a light hearted one off program. Keep the sub plots short. When they finished with one of the main badies they bring a new one in. They don't over lap them or trying fighting on 3 or 4 different fronts. IMO thats how these should be done. Not trying to change it into a soap opera with loads of sub plots.
I can see the end been this...
Kill off all the sub plots in a major battle scene they can't end. Then reach Earth to find out what a mess it's in so go to live on Mars instead.
