Okay so my husband set the computer to where any time I log off my username or turn on the computer a message pops up that says some retarted star wars quote. I want to change it but can't figure out how.. Any ideas?

I don't use Vista but you log on and a text message appears before you desktop icons show up? Is that what's happening?
Its like when I start up my computer or log off my user name a text message appears that says 'insert lame star wars quote' and my hubby wont tell me how to change it, so I want to figure it out and then change it to 'Hahahahhaha fuck you."

Off the top of my head I would think that would require possibly registry editing...but again, I'm not familiar with Windows Vista and it's possibly a newer feature.
But there is a way to change the log on banner text by editing the registry.
Click "start" then "run". Type "regedit" without the quotation marks, click "ok".
Tree the following;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Winlogon
Create a new string value and change the title and/or text.
