No. Bioshock was one of those games that was talked about but no one had any idea what it would be like to play or experience. Now that we have experienced and played the game by now the second has a lot to live up to, but it won't have that unexpected charm. It will be a sequel that has to live up to its predecessor.
I just hope it remains delightfully disturbing as the first one did. Between the cute little sisters and crazy folks trying to kill you, hearing How Much is That Doggy on the jukebox before hearing I'm going to gut you by a splicer. The game had awesome contrasts between awe and AH! and thrills and pleasantries.
Bioshock 2 will be fun, enjoyable, and hopefully still in the same vein as the first one. I hate when developers compromise their games to make a few fans happy. They should stick to what they were doing before they became popular and took a risk! No body was demanding anything for Bioshock because no one knew what was going to be in it really. It should stay the same for the next one. Now obviously if something needs fixed or tweaked, by all means.
