To each their own I guess.
I vote for the candidate(s) that I believe will represent my lifestyle and ideology. I have nothing against paying a percentile of my income for due taxes so long as the money is spent judiciously and not on the advancment of special political interests. i.e. Keep the roads tidy, make sure our water supply is abundant and pure, build more reservoirs as we continue to allow a seemingly "yall come" immigration policy, employ the cops and fire protection and so forth while keeping in mind that socialism has it's boundaries.
If boundaries are crossed and the people believe that they're not being represented accordingly by the percentage of taxes they pay (taxation without representation) said people need to appeal to their so called representatives - Do or don't do this or else your ass will be replaced come time to vote.
Nothing is going to happen to Obama except that he'll serve a minimum 1 term in the Office of the President. Any argument for or against Obama is purely academic as, for the time being, he's all ours. If we don't like what Obama is doing to the country there's an election in 2010 (both houses of congress) that may impede his socialist tendencies.:dunno:
I just want the government to be gracious in their receiving of the taxpayers' hard earned monies and not simply take those moneys for granted.
Same goes for the bailout money that this administration has helped itself to . . . infusing infinite amounts of $$$$ money to a seditious and radical A.C.O.R.N. mafia, securing any upcoming elections while at the same time undermining their opposition among other things.
