APNewsBreak: Fringe leader speaks of growing anger

 Uh, isn't this the justification most Islamos use as the basis for their acts??

LUTON, England (AP) — The leader of a British far-right group to which Anders Behring Breivik claims links called the attacks a sign of "growing anger" in Europe against Muslim immigrants.

Stephen Lennon, leader of the English Defense League, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that he does not condone Breivik's rampage but "the fact that so many people are scared — people have to listen to that."

"People should look at what happened in Oslo and understand that there is growing anger in Europe," said Lennon, 28. "You suppress people's rights you suppress people's voices and people will just continue to go underground — but that doesn't make the problem go away."

Yeah, how dare those Norwegians be against mass immigration into their country from the middle east whether they like it or not.
I mean, when the European Christians mass immigrated to the middle east back in the 60's the muslim people had no problem with it.

I think from now on I\ll just post this vid and shut my mouth in any of these lefty threads about muslims........he says abut everything that I want anyway.

And no Mega, its not justifying anything just being rational.

If you look at the gov't in Norway and it's foreign policy regarding Israel coupled with a Jewish population of less than 1,000, I'm beginning to understand which party is trotting dangerously close to that country's dark past.

There's valid concern, then there's being a hysterical little whiny bitch

The European Union's Terrorism Situation and Trend Report 2010 states that in 2009 there were "294 failed, foiled, or successfully executed attacks" in six European countries. This was down almost one-third from the total in 2008 and down by almost one-half from the total in 2007.

So in most of Europe, there was no terrorism. And where there was terrorism, the trend line pointed down.

As for who's responsible, forget Islamists. The overwhelming majority of the attacks- 237 of 294 - were carried out by separatist groups, such as the Basque ETA. A further 40 terrorists schemes were pinned on leftist and/or anarchist terrorists. Rightists were responsible for four attacks. Single-issue groups were behind two attacks, while responsibility for a further 10 was not clear.

Islamists? They were behind a grand total of one attack. Yes, one. Out of 294 attacks. In a population of half a billion people. To put that in perspective, the same number of attacks was committed by the Comité d'Action Viticole, a French group that wants to stop the importation of foreign wine.

And it's a great irony to hear neocon yanks railing about muslim immigration into Europe. Perhaps if they accepted more of the refugees from neocon wars in the middle east then the euros wouldn't have to shoulder the burden of most of it.

Why would the 'lefties' support a right-wing Conservative ideology like Islam? Or are they confusing a call not to discriminate based on religion to supporting an ideology?

^What he said....I am sure in-between clashes with right wing groups some lefties are watching this situation carefully. Islam is above reproach and until it opens up a bit more I personally will not trust them.

Translation: Doing exactly what tacit supporters of Islamic extremists are doing.:2 cents:

You don't think there is a rationale for Isamo-terrorists along those same lines??

You don't think there is the same rationale "of growing anger" at western policies which have DIRECTLY affected the lives of muslims..I'm talking about shit individual Muslims actually have personal grievances with...not shit they see on tv and are mad about or some westerner in their country who got a stupid welfare check or something...

There is no rationale for extremist inspired violence in civilized society.:brick:

Ask a muslim what they think of you being a non muslim. You're a second class citizen and worse if you're an atheist.
Now take this attitude in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium etc. where the muslim community also refuses to integrate and plus trying to change that country from within.
Ask a muslim in West Europe are you German(Belgian, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian....) first then muslim or are you muslim first then a citizen of country XYZ?
The muslim communities are trying to bully the non-muslims and the local politicians have done little to stop it until now.

^^Dangerously close to rationalizing it. Of course you wordsmith it in such a way that you are actually only making a 'dispassionate' statement. But allot of people would take what you've said as there is a rational reason for this act.

There is no rationale for extremist inspired violence in civilized society.:brick:

I will stop there - I mean, I agree with you on communities/governments not pandering to these folks. I just feel that opposition went both ways

What Breivik did was unconscionable.

To deny that there isn't anger is foolhardy and akin to sticking ones head in sand.

It is completely Rational and normal not to want your country being a place of mass immigration from other countries, especially when you know that it is doing harm to the country or even ruining it.
It is also rational and normal to be angry with your elected politicians for allowing/promoting it.

To not be concerned or indifferent to it is irrational.

And its cowardly and dishonest to use this incident to pass judgement on people who feel that way.

But this guy had it all wrong. why kill innocent people?
Maybe if people start taking out the politicians here and there who allow it would make them think twice about theyre actions.
maybe theyd get the message that way.
I would see that as protecting your country from an invasion.
