What the hell is going on in the great nation that is AMERICA? Here's my sarcastic view on the candidates:

Kerry- went 5 miles into cambodia, his wife is a great speaker, she sounds like a genious that no one understands. All the women in the world are beign opress by her opinion, she is not a multimillionare like everyone thinks, John has an ace in her he should let her speak more often. John always stands by what he says, there's no such thing as him changing his opinion. The democrats convention was a sucess it drew more non voters into this party. John has a very clear vision of what he wants to do with New Texas..oops I meant Iraq.

President Bush- The world is safer!, jobs are on the rise thanks to him, patriot act keeps you safe away from porn sites and your right to privacy...yes thats what we need!, bush is not afraid of insurgents in iraq that keep killing our soldiers with hidden bombs, he tells them "bring them on"in a true cowboy way...yehaww.. the CIA is very reliable and its report on Iraq weapons of mass destruction was great it also had help from the homeland security office who kept the nation on high alert and it went down after the war in iraq started. Jessica linch heroe of the prez!, the british provided the prez with good info, bush did not have a personal vendetta against sadam, neither bush or rumsfeild authorized the abuse of detainees it was the lower enlisted soldiers who did it ( they did not have any supervisors) bush does not takes glory in calling himself the "war time president" or by the way did he mention that every info he's had about this war is 100% acurate and don't think otherwise or he'll give you 48 hours to get out of your house before he bombs it!

Nader...is this guy serious? no comment..

Bush did have a vendetta against Sadam... Now if he went to war over it... I doubt it. But he didn't like the guy personally.

And no matter what your rank... Enlisted... CO... NCO... Your supervised and someone always knows what your doing.

I don't know and frankly I don't care.

*shrug* in my personal opinion, I feel America, post-9/11, is like a junk yard dog that was sleeping and someone kicked it. now it's just going around biting everyone in a temper.
I've also noticed a modern day witch hunt going on only instead of crying "Witch! Witch!" it's "Anti-American! Anti-American!"

I don't like President Bush, he's too much of a loose cannon.
Why isn't he doing anything about North Korea? Oh yeah, they have no mass oil fields and are able to defend themselves :lame:.

I doubt it. Many Democrats blame Gore for losing a very winnable election, and that's damaged his reputation within the Party. They don't really want him to run again, so chances are he won't.

As for the original question, my answer would be "no." Money has so corrupted the system that any good candidates are "weeded out" by corporations.

An honest man has no place in politics, that much I'm certain of.

that would be your right wing nutjobs *coughrushlimbaughcaugh*.

some of those guys that are so far right think that just because the democrats call out bush for his actions that they're "anti-american". where was this claim when everyone was bashing clinton for his BJ in the oval office scandal?

Sadly I agree. However, when it comes to my remarks concerning corporate infiltration, the US political system has been damaged the most. The laws against it are very weak and, frankly, corporations usually have more to gain by trying to mainpulate American politics than the political systems in other nations.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Corporations only support politics that increases their profits... they view human rights and democracy as the enemy and do everything legal (and ilegal if they believe they'll get away with it) to oppose them.

Kerry- went 5 miles into cambodia,

Whoooaa, Kerry told everyone that he was in Cambodia for the last 30 years. Well, now his book comes out and he flip flopped again saying he spent "Christmas eve with visions of sugar plums dancing through his head" at a post in Vietnam.

To support that, a book hits the market, "Unfit for Duty" by John O'Neil. The little Camodia story is ripped to shreds by his fellow "swifties" O'Neil has been following Kerry since post Vietnam when he turned on the"Swifties" in the 11th. O'Neil has publically caught him lying on a popular talk show with Dick Cavitt as host.
So O'Neil is NOT a "johnny come lately" that is out to trash Kerry. Some examples that come to mind would be Richard Clark, Paul O'neil, Richard Wilson. Crybaby lemmings that will do anything to trash Bush.

It's so funny that I havn't heard alot about this in the media. I wonder why?...............................After all, he is running on his outstanding career in Vietnam. What a phoney!!! So it comes down to Mr. War Hero's word against 60 fellow officers and enlisted men with avadavits that say otherwise. Funny the DNC says that they can't do this and say this. What trash, the DNC uses the First Amendment only when it benefits them.

Great, let's elect another liar. The DNC drives me to drink. I am glad I registered independent.
