Are You On A Diet or Thinking Of Being On One?

I never have intentionally dieted, but now I seem to eat a little more healthier.
Two Big Macs instead of three.

I'm lucky that I'm not on the heavy end of the spectrum.

I know a lot of people make new year resolutions to begin a diet or some exercise program - I don't do that either.

My mom says she's always on a diet, or something like that.

Me, no. I like to eat what I like, and how I like it. I do, however, try to maintain my weight, so I am sure to do things to keep active.

If I really wanna lose weight I just go on a Jack Daniels diet. Works like a charm. 10lbs in 10 days can be done.

As much as I'd love to lose 10lbs, I just can't bring myself to diet. I love food too much. And I hate myself when I deprive myself of the deliciousness of food. I do eat healthy most of the time, only eat organic meat, eat veggies/salad with every meal etc. But if there's something I wanna eat, I eat it. Half-assing ANYTHING in life just isn't my style. So if I'm curvy, I'm curvy. I'd rather be curvy, than be one of those girls who panic attacks at the thought of eating more than a crouton! :)

I am planning on eating a bit better rather than sloppy and no real nutrition for the body. I eat vegetables, fruits, drink juices, and all that good stuff. I also however tend to eat whatever and whenever.

I am relatively thin and would like to keep it that way. I am noticing I am becoming more carefree in what I eat and just eat. I am thinking of partaking in foods with flavonoids, vitamins, and nice nutrients and maintain my health so I will not get into older age paying for it because I ate reckless young.

I am as well going to get back into physical activities and getting myself back into that kind of thing.

I really don't see it so much as a diet as maintaining a natural eating/living habit. Diets seem to be a temporary change until satisfied or forget about it and back to the same old habitual lifestyle. You have to want to do it; not wake up one day, standing on a scale, and realizing need to drop ten or twenty pounds or looking at yourself in the mirror and feeling the need to change from ten to twenty pounds.

Then again maybe I am looking at the term diet wrong.

I as well am thinking about partaking in some of the organic produce and slowly make the transition. I just need to find a nice meat market along the same lines...

A lot of the time it comes down to keeping physical activity and not eating and immediately taking a nap or eat and back to sitting or whatever. If have a regular physical activity/exercise you can keep in charge the weight gain. For most people.

All hail the FO Cult Mother!
yup I've been following the Primal Blueprint strictly for the past 5 months and running long distances, dropped from 230lbs to 155lbs so I highly recommend eating like a caveman if you can discipline yourself to do it :) and I don't think of the primal blueprint as a diet, its basically eating the foods our bodies were meant to eat :)

I don't drink pop or anything caffeinated. Pork free for over 6 months. Red meat once a month. No seafood ever. Chipotle once a week.

I could lose 5-10 pounds, but I don't have the self discipline to stick to a diet.

The best things in life are Free!
Dieting is something i never believed in.I believe in eating healthy and doing workout.I hit the weights with vengeance 5 days a week and adhere to good food including fruits and sprouts which are fat burners.Dieting drains out essential new trains from the body and most of the time the person practicing it looks sucked up.
Eat healthy and exercise.That's all.

I've been on a simple eat right and exercise diet for a while. :dunno: I still eat a lot but it's healthy food and I usually don't go too far over my calories needed for the day.
