One thing that I've found that I can do to get over the issue of me not spreading enough rep is to look for old posts by members with closed accounts and give them rep. That way the system sees that I'm repping other people and will let me get back to whoever I was gonna rep in the first place than if I wait for it to let me on its own. If DvC, Slowhand, Lady Love, Lone Gunman, etc. were to reopen their accounts they would find that their profile pages contain nothing but rep from me for posts that they made many, many years ago. :1orglaugh

I would love a peak at OCSM rep points. They join the board and within the space of 100 posts have the rep of someone whose been here for 5 years. Half could post something as random as "I like cheese" and probably recieve enough rep to put to shame a years worth of genuine posting. Good god its not like repping every single bloody post is gonna get you a "one free fuck" pass the next time she is in 100 miles of you!

As for repping other members, if i like what theyve posted, it merits the appropriate rep, adversely for things I dont like. I do always chuckle though when I leave neg rep, I get a PM the next day from the offending member whining about how i ruined their perfect rep or whatever opinion theyve chosen to share with me in as many eloquent words as "your a poo poo head".

Maybe they are, and it's just that no one told you!

I once got hit with neg rep because I said, of Brittney Spears, it looked like her pussy would smell. Man that pissed me off. You can bet I sent a pm on that one.

I typically just rep if it's a post I agree with, or one I might not agree with but respect the opinion of.

Unless of course I decide to post in the "Rep" game thread from time to time ... then I send what I like to call "scattershot rep" where I don't discriminate.

Anyone that I negative rep, which is rare, is just because they are being a total fuckhead and saying some whack shit that makes no sense and no one could intelligently debate. and I aways tell them that to thier face (well at least in the thread) in front of everyone else. Of course then I always get neg rep back from them in "retaliation". How immature, but what do you expect?

I havent given a neg rep in so I've almost forgotten what it feels like. Kinda like burning yourself with a cigarette whilst really turned on from what I remember :dunno:.

As for those people with 400 posts and 20,000 rep points, I never really get a chance to rep them as they're never out of the "I'd give rep ..." thread. So they cant really post anything funny or insightful that I am going to read.

It either my loss or theirs, but I cant make up my mind who's loss it actually is?
