I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.

I don't mind if celebrities want to have a child and start a family, but I can't fucking stand it when they waltz themselves around in the media (magazines, TV shows, interviews, etc) promoting their pregnancy. For 9 months, all you hear about is "OMG, so-and-so is soooo pregs!". Then, when the child is finally born, these idiot "parents" parade their kid around like they're some sort of trophy. "Look at me, look at me! I has a kid!"

It's fucking dumb and it's completely disrespectful to the child(ren) in question.

I agree with all of this. The kid(s) will only end up being raised by grandparents or a nanny. The idea of parenthood and responsibility is nonexistent. I really do believe there's a direct correlation between celebrity "antics" and the MTV demographic.
