Back from Brussels.

Last week I went to Brussels to visit my (other)brother and sister in law. 2 weeks ago my sister in law gave birth to a girl and I wanted to see her as quick as possible.
When I arrived @ their place and held my niece in my arms for the first time I just melted. She's the most beautiful and cutest girl ever. She makes the cutest faces and sounds, especially when she's preparing a little present in her diaper :1orglaugh
She squints her eyes and makes a high sound and starts pushing, she sometimes even turns red from pushing :1orglaugh The only thing I'm very sad about is that I won't see her grow up from close by because the live in Belgium and are even thinking of moving to Italy Damn, I just returned yesterday and I already mis my beautiful niece

I do want children someday with the right woman but not just yet, I'm only 21.

Sort of againt the topic but on it, I do agree that it is a nice idea to move to mainland Europe. I've looked up houses in French cities, and I am currently studying the language intensely. I plan to retire to France, probably in Lyon or a cheaper village, later on in life, far away from the U.S. here for several personal reasons. House in France, I have researched through a very clsoe personal friend I talk to through e-mail online, if your only wanting an apartment, are thankfully not the most expensive in Europe and are quite affordable if you are saving up.

Also, I have a friend in Belgium, in Ghent who I've talked to for years back & forth about th horror genre, and I can ask him about studio apartment prices over there if the original poster wishes. Living on the mainland of Europe certainly has it's advantages.

I already live in Europe, the Netherlands to be precise. The problem is I have a full time job and I live in the north of the Netherlands and it's a three hour drive to Brussels so it's not like I can visit my niece on a saturday afternoon for example. Being with them the last four days made me realize again how much I mis my brother and sister in law and now my niece too
