Band Of Brothers

My father is a 101st Airborne vet. He dropped on both Normandy and the Netherlands, and also fought at Bastogne. He had some minor input on the production of "Band of Brothers", and though he grants there are some innacuracies in the mini series overall he was very pleased with the finished product.

BoB is a good series about the greatest generation in America. I like that fact that people are taking movie making seriously and making good programs. I would like to see one on Vietnam, I know there is Platoon etc... but I have heard from many vets that most are not that accurate. I would not know as I did not join up till 1996. If they ever make a series about OIF its going to be some fucked up shit. Nothing worse than kicking a door down then taking direct fire.
