They both had very good positions. But considering that back in October '08 Obama won the debate about who had an economic plan over McCain's lack of one, not the debate on fighting terrorism or national defense. So what made Obama think that he could win it now? perharps he is still pretty popular or pretty much with the help of the media generals and divisions among the GOP will give him the edge. Sadly for him and his followers of a "we need to treat terrorist like human beings and not sprinkle water on them" approach, he still can't win this debate.
It was very odd seeing a former VP who has ver negative ratings dominate the debate an offer a solid case against Obama that gave a good speech, but once again does not offer no solutions and just keeps on lying. For example how did Gitmo recluted more "extremist" (formerly known as terrorists)? It sounded like Obama just liked to hear his own voice over and over on how bad we have been to these so innocent people followers of law.
It seems to me that Dick took Obama to school and for a second there I was confused on who was the president cuz Dick had his shit straigh while Barrack was just huffing and puffing hot air, while even his super majority of dems is opposing him on bringing the Gitmo folks to U.S. soil.
