EVERYTHING is destructible! Buildings, walls, trees, you name it you can destroy it! Will add a whole new level of realism to the game!

This game will be on my "must buy" list which is very short. Even if only for the massive scale of destruction!

That looks pretty sweet ! This is probably the next great millitary FPS . It will be great to be able to flush out a sniper by blowing a building around him .

It does look sweet. The sound is great to from reading about it, better than COD4.

I tell ya, throw in good gameplay mechanics, an interesting story line, and an awesome online experience. This game will pwn all other fps!

I dunno how well the online multiplayer will be though. With all the dynamic partical effects going on all over the map, it'll be hard to pull off a flawless online set up!

But regardless. This is #2 of only 2 games I've heard of that I'll actually purchase in 2008! What they say 90% destructable? Close enough to 100% for me! The explosions and fire are superb!

They'd been promising environments like that since before Battlefield Vietnam came out, but with this video it actually looks like they're making good with their plans. Just hope it doesn't slow down the online or anything.

I'm tellin you if they pull if off, especially online...it will raise the bar very high for any future FPS games. Hell for pretty much any game. It will spoil me for sure. If it works out well I won't be able to play any game after that doesn't have that scale of destruction!

I only hope they add keyboard and mouse support for it for those who use them, then it would be awesome

I went to DICE's press conference in Stockholm last month about the game and saw some pictures and videos from it. Looks great, and although the genre isn't really my cup of tea anymore since it has become a little over-used, it looked like a must-have.

Yep, they need to at least match COD4's online play. As well as give it fluid controls and they'll have a winner!

Closer to release I'll be looking for official hands on reviews. If the game is gorgeous crap. They'll say that! If it shows seriously good potential to be a COD4 killer, they'll say that as well!

For some reason I just can't get excited about this game. I had enough massive destruction in Mercenaries years ago (Mercenaries 2 also has massive destruction capabilities).

I wasn't keen on the last Battlefield game either....

I have it on good authority that this game IS gonna kick some serious ass!

Someone who is on my friends list, whom I know from another forum I'm on, has a friend who is a game programmer. This guy got his hands on a playable demo of BC!

He's gonna try and get a couple copies of the disc and mail some of us a copy if he can. I highly doubt that'll happen. But anyway. This guy isn't someone to make up shit either.

He said thus far the single player mode is the best he's ever seen. I dunno, time will tell I guess.

The multiplayer is a lot of fun (when it's not lagging from all the explosions), but the single player doesn't have much going for it from what I've seen so far. It probably get's better later on. It is quite funny though and I like the music.

The "blow up everything" talk was a bit of an exaggeration, you can only blow up a lot of walls/trees... Basicly only stuff they want you to blow up. I was hoping for more destruction.

From the demo alone, I will say it's a very good game, but it isn't enough to make me want to buy the full package. And it still isn't enough to contend with COD4. :2 cents:

No your right its not gonna be able to compete with COD4. Nothing can, probably not till COD5 that is!

I have some friends who played the beta and now the demo, they say it's improved alot from the beta, but still isn't perfect. I guess I'll rent it some weekend, but I'm definantly not hyped about it at all now!

I tried the demo and I have to say that it's good but nothing special really . I liked BF2 more than this . Still it looks like it has some potential . The problem really is that COD4 put the bar wayyy to high now so every new online fps will seem like it's missing something compared to the greatness of COD4 .
