Yes, I bribed and cheated to get this far
What do you think is best? I love the Beatles and before I ever heard their music, I didn't give two shits about music. But when I first heard Sgt. Peppers, a new world was opened to me and had a greater appreciation for music. Upon hearing this, you might think I'm like 50 or 60-some years old but I'm only 26 (only?). Either way, what's your favorite?

Mine is The White Album

Never actually been a Beatles fan, but I do love While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

The White Album was their best work, but Sgt. Pepper's was the most significant from an historical perspective. Before that album, it was nothing but Mitch Ryder, Blues Magoos, Young Rascals etc. Sgt. Pepper's launched what was perhaps the most revolutionary era in modern music in the late '60s and into the '70s. Monumental.

For me Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band but my favorite song is Eleanor Rigby from Revolver

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
I like George Harrison's solo stuff much more.

I'd say their best songwriting (Lennon/McCartney) was during the three year from 1965-1967. After that, most of their songwriting was John or Paul writing the song individually, and both were getting a writing credit on the song. "Across the Universe," "Don't Let Me Down," "Julia," and "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill" were clearly Lennon compositions. While "Oh Darling," "Let It Be," "I Got A Feeling," and "The Long and Winding Road" were clearly McCartney compositions.

Their best session work was during The Beatles - White sessions... most of the songs that didn't make it there on the White album found their way onto the Abbey Road album...

Their best album is Abbey Road ... personally because I'm biased towards George Harrison's "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something". :)

I really like Sgt. Pepper. That is when they started getting surreal.

Sgt Peppers, but Blackbird off The White Album is my favorite song. Still never a true Beatles fan, admire them though.
