I think that some of the photos used aren't very good for what they are trying to show.It's kinda hard to make out what exactly is going on,on some of the masks.

Best mask ever was,I think it was either Tom Barrasso's or Ken Wregget's mask when they played for the Penguins,and one or the other,I can't remember,had the Danny DeVito,Penguin,on the mask.It looked awesome.

You know,I've wondered how come baseball catchers don't have their masks painted,since most of them use a mast that looks like a goalies mask?I wonder if MLB just won't let them do it or what.

There's some legendary masks, like Brodeur, "crazy" Eddie Belfour, and Richter has to be one of the great all time masks. Roy had a cool one as well. these were the legends when I was a kid. But this link was about best right now.


Remember that card set (was it Upper Deck or Score, can't remember) where they had all the masks? that was cool.

If I was a goalie I'd just wear a good ol' JASON MASK...and I'd spatter it with real pig's blood. I think Ed Balfour was the originator of the cool mask.

that is crazy. you wanna think of a cool Halloween costume, get one of the masks of these guys and wear it with a jersey, or the whole nine. some of them make these goalies look like total serial killers (they're [the masks] are so cool)!

On the OP link, I thought Martin Biron's was real classy and best retro style helmet.
