Where have you had the best experiences meeting men and/or women?

I have personally had good luck meeting women at school; it is really easy to kick off a conversation!

Going to bars or parties with friends is a good way to meet new people. Your friends can introduce you to their friends, and you can do that same. This is a good comfortable way to meet people of the opposite sex.

Ever since I got out of school has been hard to meet ladies for the same reason it was so easy to meet them when I was in school, because...how can I explain it? Because I look smart (i.e. look like a nerd) so of course the ladies would just flock all around me to study with me and have me explain the subjects and such, but going to a club now? Not the same results.

But I do think going to parties with friends are the best place to meet people because you've already been "vetted" by the friend who invited you and so the other people there there would feel more comfortable talking to you since, even if you're a stranger, a mutual friend can vouch for you and they'll trust you, so it'll be easier to take them back to your place and trap them in your basement.

I would feel like a creep trying to get someone's number at the grocery store though.
