How about the All Bonds code in GoldenEye? Completing the Aztec mission on 007 difficulty in less than nine minutes with all customisable enemy settings on the highest difficulty would unlock the ability to play as Connery, Moore and Dalton's Bonds.

The rumor that you could get the girls of DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball topless. And again, EGM ran a fake artical on how to unlock it..

They are topless and bottom less on my xbox.... I have a modded xbox and think it must have been a patch for the game or something becuase i didn't even have to put in a code or anything..... I can post pics to prove it if you'd like.

I was on the crapper, reading one of my brother's crappy video game magazines, and some guy in Duluth wrote into the Readers section, and he swears that Nintendo is coming out with a new platform game where you play Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz, and you have to fight your way through waves of evil directors, pedophiles, and pharmacists, on your way to the Emerald City. It's a lot like Mario, except you're a girl, and instead of magic coins, you collect fan magazine clippings.

Those were the fist ones to pop in my mind as well.

Next one that comes to mind was another one of EGM's April Fool's jokes. They said you could unlock Akuma in Resident Evil 2. I forget what they said the requirement was, but I remember it being something quite time consuming that would have really pissed off anyone who tried it.

Yeah I always wished a few of the cool ones were real, but I knew as soon as the rumors started that it was fake . I can admit I did look for a few like big foot & pigsy just to try & prove myself wrong & that some rumors are true lol.
