Adult moose stand 6-7ft at their shoulders and weigh between 850-1580 pounds. Thoes antlers have to span almost 6 ft. Thats an amazing animal and LOTS of Mosse steaks and jerky for the winter.

I definitely agree with that. What's the point of hunting? People act like it's an accomplishment to kill a wild animal. Dude, you've got a gun with a scope, camo gear, and you sprayed yourself with moose piss. Congratulations, you took down an animal that was either grazing for food or taking a drink. Way to go. If someone shot you at dinner, they'd be arrested. And it's not a sport either - you know why: because one team doesn't know they're playing.

Population control. Which is why there is a limit on how many Deers, Toms, Small Game that you can have during hunting season. Plus the only gun that I use to hunt is my Mossberg 500 for turkey and my .30-06 for deer. Although I also do archery season which is a bit more challenging and am starting to like it more and more.
