Dog the Bounty Hunter has been bitten back by one of his targets.

Duane "Dog" Chapman and fellow bounty hunter Bobby Brown were trying to apprehend a murder suspect in Colorado Springs, Colorado Tuesday when the man allegedly fired on them with a handgun before making a getaway on a motorcycle, reports RadarOnline.com.

At the time, the bounty hunters could only return fire on the man, Hoang Nguyen, with paintball guns.

Yeah he is real,got arrested in mexico for seizing someone there in vioaltion of their laws as a bounty hunter.Think he got off on that though.He may be a big guy (his wife has huge boobs too btw,not that thats really relevant lol) but from what I have seen of him he isn't really very bright.He ought to be carefull he will end up face down with couple slugs in the back of the head when he goes after wrong person.:violent:

it was illegal for him to take lester out of mexico so he got arrested on that which is why he cant carry a real gun

the whole familly are really bounty hunters and they been doing it for many years dog is also an ex convic turn man of law which is another reason he cant carry a gun

No disrespect, but he's more like Puppy the Bounty Hunter. His show is nothing more than hyped up drama playing up to the camera. I really like to see him try to apprehend some serious mofos from the South Side of Chicago, or South Central LA, or along the 8 mile in Detroit. Lets see how tough puppy really is as he goes deep in NYC. . . not going to happen people. Now a real show apprehending dangerous criminals is A&E's Manhunters Fugitive Task Force, that show is on the real compared to Dog's.

To answer the question about the paintball gun, they make oleoresin capsicum (pepperspray) paintballs. You hit a guy in the chest with a few of them, the spray hits your sinuses and that's basically the end of the ballgame. Different people may react differently but it's a good non-lethal line of defense if you're unable or unwilling to carry an actual firearm. Just watch where the spray goes. You don't want to get hit by your own pepper cloud.

I wonder if this method of incapicitation is acceptable to Facial King, southern poverty law center and the aclu (?)

i'd guess pure capsaicin for the paintballs as well. peppers are rated with what's known as a scoville rating which determines their hotness or level of capsaicin. to give an idea of pure capsaicin's potency jalapenos have a scoville rating of about 2,500-8,000, habaneros rate 100,000-300,000 and will give you a rash if handled without gloves, pure capsaicin rates 15,000,000-16,000,000 on the scoville chart.....now! despite all of this i'd rather not be hunting people with guns with it
